The Compassionate Work of Hospiscare Exeter
Hospiscare provides essential services ranging from medical care to wellbeing groups, ensuring that no one has to face life’s toughest challenges alone. They offer support in various forms – be it discussing medication, providing end-of-life care, or simply offering a listening ear to those in need. Additionally, for those caring for loved ones with life-limiting illnesses, Hospiscare offers much-needed respite through relaxation therapies and support groups, understanding the emotional and physical demands placed on caregivers.
The charity’s outreach extends throughout Devon with community-based services, day hospices in Exeter, Honiton, and Tiverton, and a 12-bed specialist ward located at Searle House in Exeter. This comprehensive approach allows Hospiscare to touch many lives, providing comfort and dignity to patients and families during the most challenging times.
