We had the pleasure of exhibiting at the Autumn Wedding Extravaganza at Westpoint Exeter on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October, the biggest wedding show in the South West, and an event we were proud to be part of.
With nearly 2,000 visitors through the doors (including over 500 excited brides-to-be!), the atmosphere across the weekend was nothing short of electric. Despite storm warnings and a few traffic hiccups on Saturday morning, the arena was buzzing with inspiration, ideas, and joyful conversations, and we were thrilled to be right in the heart of it.
Bringing Tailoring to the Wedding Conversation
As always, our focus was on showcasing the power of bespoke tailoring to make each couple’s wedding day truly personal. From grooms’ suits and wedding party tailoring to dress alterations and upcycling, our team was on hand to answer questions, talk through fabric choices, and help guests imagine what’s possible, whether they were at the very beginning of planning or adding the final touches.
We were especially proud to present garments crafted from high-end British wool, showstopping linings, and solid brass buttons, each carefully chosen to reflect timeless elegance with a modern edge. Our display of ready-to-wear and made-to-measure pieces sparked lots of conversations about sustainability, quality, and the benefits of investing in tailored clothing that lasts well beyond the wedding day.
A Beautifully Curated Show
A big thank you to the organisers of the Wedding Extravaganza for creating such a welcoming and well-run event. The weekend featured catwalk shows, live entertainment, exclusive offers, and prize draws, all wrapped up in a beautifully decorated space that, in their words, was transformed from “the bare and barren Westpoint wasteland into a bridal paradise.” We’re grateful for the kind feedback and so pleased to hear that our stand helped bring that vision to life.
Looking Ahead
With an estimated £8 million of wedding spending power under one roof, the show reminded us just how much thought, care, and excitement couples pour into their big day, and how tailoring plays an important part in helping people feel confident and comfortable as they celebrate.
We’re already looking forward to the next Wedding Extravaganza at Westpoint on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd February 2025, and we hope to see many of you there!
